Mataram Biomedical research Group is a group of medical and biomedical scientists based at Biomedical Research Unit Mataram General Hospital and Biomedika Hospital both located in Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Mataram General Hospital is a public hospital owned by the local government of West Nusa Tenggara Province, while Biomedika Hospital is a private owned specialist hospital. Currently Mataram Biomedical Research Group is chaired by Prof. Soewignjo Soemohardjo MD, PhD. His main interest is researches on viral hepatitis and Helicobacter pylori infections. The research is a part of activity of both hospital. This blog contains articles reporting the research done by the group.
